Dear Archers:
The Indoor State Championship will be held in Muncie at the Horizon Convention Center, downtown at 401 S. High St. on March 12 & 13, 2011. The NASP shoot is Friday March 11, 2010. Everyone had a great time helping DNR put on the 2010 NASP tournament last year. If you're interested in helping for the 2011 next year give Rocky Kline an e-mail at rlkline1@comcast.net he needs a list of name for name tags. There will be a separate food line for the helpers, so you should be able to get something to eat during the break. NASP will have a shoot off to limit the number of shooters this year, We had over 850 kids shooting last year.
Need a place to stay for the Indoor State? The IFAA has all the rooms available at the Signature Inn of Muncie; 3400 N. Chadam Ln. 765-284-4200. The Rooms are $ 62.00 a night, tell them you are booking for the IFAA tournament to get the rate. Rooms are available now.
The NFAA INDOOR NATIONAL is March 26 & 27, 2011 in Louisville, Ky.
Cecil Thomas was elected President, and Mike Clary Sr. was appointed Vice President of Field to fill out the last year of the Vice President.
Elections at the Indoor State 2011 will be for 2 yrs term, for the office of Vice-President of Field and Treasurer.
The Sportsmanship Award went to Clinton Teegarden. The name has changed to Life Time Achievement Award.
Big Buck was won by Scott Starnes.
The 5 person traveling team trophy was won by Archers Spot. The 5 person is team with a minim of 2 female on it, regardless of age. 5 members any style, you, must have 2 female shooters. You can have a cub shooting 10 yds if you like. Basically 5 of your best shooters. The challenge is out.

The American Round will be Sunday July 17, 2011 at Jay Co. Archers in Red Key, In.
The Out Door State will be Aug 27 and 28, 2011 at Pine Hill Archery Club in Danville, In.
The 3D tournament will be Sunday Sept 11, 2011 at Jay Co. Archers in Red Key; In.
The Great Lakes Sectional will be Feb 26 & 27, 2011 at Galveston Archery club and Archers Spot Archery Range.
